People come to counselling for lots of different reasons. You may be struggling with uncomfortable feelings and emotions, trying to make sense of challenging life experiences, or at a 'crossroads' in your life and needing to make a difficult decision.
My person-centred approach means I do not direct you or try to interpret what you say, instead I listen so you can experience a non-judgemental and empathic environment to understand how you are affected by events in your life. I work alongside you to find resolution and a better outcome for yourself.
As the counselling progresses you will feel a growing sense of security and confidence in knowing that you are heard. It will be easier for you to locate your true feelings and needs, so then you can begin to make changes. Eventually this will enable you to live your life more fully.
I can help you work with the following issues:
fears and anxiety
relationship difficulties
loss and bereavement
trauma
feeling different, including neuro-divergent conditions
depression
low self-esteem
ageing
eco-anxiety
